In the best case scenario, the Career Development Life Cycle (CDLC) is a waterfall. But in reality many of our CDLC is agile.
It is important to understand your skills, values, likes, strengths and weaknesses, in addition to your interest to decide your career path. If a career path worked for someone you know, doesn’t mean it will work for you.
Are we aware of our skills and values? Are we all making the right decision? Are we exploring what to expect and the perspective of the career path we choose?
Figure 1 above shows a scenario of flow of why our CDLC can go agile. Our CDLC can go in any direction, it may continue, pause, change or stop in any stage based on our personalities or will power.
